Who Would Stand

My heart is heavy as I sense the heartache of the Lord as He looks at His church. There are loyal soldiers, equipped and ready; however, so many that are so caught up in worldly gain for things of this world, even as I look at myself.

The Lord knows what is coming upon the earth and He is preparing His people through trials and tribulations so we are equipped and ready, emotionally and spiritually. I so pray as those who read this will look beyond the writer and hear what the spirit of God is saying. I am in no way smart enough to write anything that requires more than two sentences, which is not spoken in a defeated attitude, just a knowing of where my strength comes from.

The Lord gets a joy out of using people that have no real talent. Ever feel like you don't have much talent to offer the Lord? I often think of David when he was chosen King over Israel. The prophet, Samuel, came to anoint the next King and asked Jesse to ready his sons. Jesse brought all his sons in and lined them up for Samuel to pick one, all except one- David. Jesse thought, surely he wont pick David, he was young, small and rudy(red headed) and therefore left him in the field tending the sheep. However, the one God chose, wasn't man's pick-funny how God does that. God has His own way of doing things and it usually isn't man's thoughts or ways. We try to put God into an American mind set and God isn't an American, He isn't going to jump in my game, He isn't who I say He is or who you say He is-He is who He said He would be, the GREAT "I AM", He is the beginning and the End the Alpha and Omega, the one TRUE GOD!

David was unknown at that time, he was quiet, he was a shepherd who spent a lot of "alone" time with his sheep and the Lord and the Lord molded him into what He needed David to be. Was he perfect-NO-but he was a man after God's own heart.

Are we out and about with the Lord on our minds at all times, learning and gaining spiritual strength through the things the Lord has allowed us to walk through? Or are we being negative and blaming others for our situation, void of understanding, with little spiritual growth or maturity. WE must always remember… God brought us to it, to bring us through it. Nothing surprises the Lord; its how we handle the situation the Lord is really interested in.

The world is getting so wicked, porn on every corner and on every TV station. Gay marriages will soon overtake the marriage God set into place. Satan is stealing our minds, our peace and our love for one another.

Matt 24:12 Because iniquity(wickedness) shall abound(increase) the love of many shall wax cold…..

It is now the day, now is the time you will have to choose who you will serve and fight for it. Satan is giving his last full effort to destroy God's people and he is using the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life.- IJohn 2:16

Where are the intercessors; where are the preachers and teachers…..There are some -bold, sold out, & on fire -but the number is dwindling. I often wonder how many would be standing if we were made to really choose who we serve or lose our life. There are people today that have to choose one or the other, they actually are killed if they choose Christianity or lose their families or business's. We, in America, usually choose it to be politically correct or for business gain. How many would stand for the Lord if it came down to living in a tent and giving up our life styles and all our comforts- who would stand

It scares me sometimes and I have to look deep and press into the things of the Spirit not to be sucked into the world system. I want to stay faithful; I want to stay true and in right standing with the Lord.

We are being destroyed by pride and greed in so many forms and I hear people constantly saying-"it's the other person"-it sure can't be me. We should each look at ourselves today, in marriages, at the work place, in our churches and families. I think if Joseph can be in prison some 14 years and the guards say- he is a man of God- it can be done. I can promise you Joseph's life in prison was nothing that he was accustomed to. He had to decide he would stand no matter what. We need to look at ourselves and how the enemy would like to destroy our lives and hearts through manipulating our thought life. Where our minds go breeds decisions and actions which leaves an open door for the enemy. Everyone is different and Satan uses different tactics for each and no one is exempt. The only way to stay alert and aware is to stay humble and forgiving, always listening to the still small voice of the Lord. Today is the day of forgiveness to set you free, so much unforgiveness in our lives. If you are holding a grudge…its time to forgive. You will know because of the way you speak concerning others. I recently went on a fast for a specific purpose but came out on my knees as the Lord had shown me some things in my own life that was hindering my walk with Him.

Who will stand when we are hungry, when our bodies ache and our homes are taken? Who will stand when no one is acknowledging our status or our positions? Who will stand when there is no more conveniences or computers and things seem unclear.

I will tell you who will stand… It will be the TRUE Body of Christ. The ones who have paid the price, the ones who have been before the Lord and have said "no" to following after the sin of the world. Sin looks fun and likes dark places, but sin will take you further than you want to go and will cost you more than you want to pay!

Today is the day, Lord; we lay down our lives for you and turn from those things that aren't pleasing to you.

2 Cor 6:2 For He said, I have heard you in a time accepted and in the day of salvation I succoured(helped) you; behold NOW is the accepted time, behold now is the day of salvation.

The Lord is a NOW God, we can do things Now, Now is the time to change. There is no one that is exempt from needing some change somewhere. God is calling and yearning for His believers to grow up and mature. There is a battlefield and true soldiers are needed. Who will stand……..Who will go forth as the Lord leads………
